Embossed
Your design is pressed up from the back, so it stands out on the front and sinks in on the back. It goes on one side, on uncoated 16 or 20 pt card, without full-colour printing.

Glossy ink that rises above the surface of the card. It goes on one side, on 16 or 24 pt card.

Add raised ink to one side of a letterpress or foil card for a second texture.

A mask file
Send your design plus a second file that marks the embossing or raised ink in 100% black on white. It has to be vector art.
Simple marks
Logos, monograms and simple shapes suit embossing and raised ink best.
Leave room
Keep the raised area at least 0.125 in inside the edge of the card, like everything else on it.

What is an embossed business card?
A card with your design pressed up from the back, so it stands out on the front and sinks in on the back. You feel it as much as see it.
What's the difference between embossing and raised ink?
Embossing shapes the card itself and has no ink. Raised ink is glossy ink that builds up above the surface. Both go on one side of the card.
Can embossed cards be printed in full colour?
No. Embossed cards are uncoated card without full-colour printing, so the embossing carries the design.
What is the minimum order?
100 cards. You can order 100, 200, 300 or 500.
How long do they take?
